Which worksheets to choose?

We strongly recommend that before you buy any of our worksheet options you download and print off our free assessment sheet to check which worksheet type and level is best for your child.

It is very simple to check. Just compare your child’s natural letter size to the line heights on the assessment sheet.

It is best to start with a size they are comfortable with and then, over time, reduce the line height. If you try to make your child work at a level (line height) too small for their fine motor skills ability they will struggle and could be put off writing. With practise their fine motor skills will improve and their writing will become smaller.

You may find the refiners type worksheets more suitable for older children.

You can choose from 3 types of worksheet, based on the level of visual support your child needs, and from 3 line heights based on their fine motor skills development.
